Distinguished Guests, Officials and Players!

On behalf of the Korea Tennis Association and on behalf of the Hansol Group, I would like to welcome all of you to the 2006 Hansol Korea Open Tennis Tournament.

This year marks the third anniversary of the Tournament and I am very excited to tell you that the Hansol Open has developed into a top notch Tournament within its class not only in terms of the internationally ranked players that participate in the Tournament but also in terms of the positive post-tournament review we have received from the WTA Tour, the players and the fans.

The Hansol Korea Open Tournament will continue its efforts to become a more exciting and challenging event for all the participants. I also hope that the players and the visiting officials will find some time to visit and enjoy what our City and the Korean culture has to offer during this beautiful autumn season.

Lastly, I wish everyone the best of luck and would like to take this short moment to thank all the supporting staff for their dedicated efforts.
